Revelados os nomeados para a 1ª edição dos Global Poker Awards

Há pouco mais de uma semana o Global Poker Index anunciou a criação dos Global Poker Awards. Agora, foram revelados os nomeados para a 1ª edição destes prémios.

Ao todo são 20 os prémios que vão ser entregues nos Global Poker Awards, sendo que os nomeados para 13 das categorias, foram escolhidos por um painel de mais de 130 pessoas.

Até ao ano passado o GPI realizava duas cerimónias anuais, os American Poker Awards e os European Poker Awards, e por isso não é espanto nenhum reparar que vários vencedores desses prémios estão entre os nomeados para esta nova cerimónia. Como são os casos de Daniel Negreanu, Matt Savage, Andrew Neeme, Jason Somerville Joe Ingram, entre outros.

Entre todos os nomeados, que representam 10 países diferentes, apenas 4 pessoas têm mais que uma nomeação: Justin Bonomo, Lex Veldhuis, Lance Bradley e Remko Rinkema.

Com 2 vencedores já conhecidos: Alex Foxen (o GPI Player of the Year) e Kristen Bicknell (a GPI Female Player of the Year), estes são os nomeados da 1ª edição dos Global Poker Awards:
