I do hope to win best vlogger for 2018, for my combined 0 vlogs put out ?
These awards are a total joke. https://t.co/bssxDx1EYH

Passando a bola ao amigo do costume:
Hey @Joeingram1, keep your chin up and maybe 1 day you can be on par with the chip race poker podcast pic.twitter.com/hoBoOo25b9

AFTER SEEING THE NOMINEES & CATEGORIES I WILL BE LAUNCHING MY OWN OFFICIAL 1ST ANNUAL POKER WORLD AWARDS W/ NOMINEES ANNOUNCED SOON & VOTED ON BY FANS AND WINNERS ANNOUNCED THE SAME WEEK AS THE GLOBAL POKER AWARDS.
— Joey Ingram ✌? (@Joeingram1) March 18, 2019
Na "equipa da casa" também houve reacções:
My biggest concern with the @GPI nominations is that it shows the people in the media/industry really don't know what's going on in the content space. If we're looking for new characters in poker it doesn't help that characters putting out content on a weekly basis get overlooked

Yeah w/ how many possible options there are most people just pick who they know and/or friends with.
I imagine most of the people choosing watch very little streams, podcasts, vlogs to begin with.
Poker World Awards will fix this.

I know any subjective award is going to come with varying opinions, but in an industry that is desperate for growth I'm sad to see the panel continuing to lean on accomplished names rather than promoting those who are growing the game from the ground floor. https://t.co/RngP5qT49K

Ah my bad if this is the case! I would be surprised if players got asked to pick this though.

I took my panel role very seriously, but in some categories a lot of nominees were unknown to me. I felt I had to do it in one pass and in all categories, and (inevitably) tended to favour what I knew. I did ‘write in’ one glaring omission though; Journalist @ThePokerBaffer
