Twitch:

The gloryitization of streamers/vloggers instead of players who are actually the best at the game is amazing for poker players who want to win money.
Do you want people learning from/aspiring to be Doug Polk & Steven Chidwick or a small/mid stakes player??
???
Not sure

(1/2)I was just thinking about how sad this is for poker overall the other day. When I started I looked up to guys like Ike, sauce, Trueteller, jungleman, forhayley etc. I had this dream that maybe one day I could be like them and battle high stakes. What's the dream now?
— Chris Kruk (@KrukPoker) February 19, 2019
This is a good question Chris. I think it might be sad for a small subsection of the poker community that the dream is going away from that (like yourself & mine) but maybe good overall.

Is the dream going away though? The best player in the world (Linus) grinder up not that long ago from micro stakes cash and sits at the top now. Pav is another example of somebody crushing, Matt Staples went from playing $0.02 tournies to genuinely being really good etc

Enquanto estes conversam, quem será o strea... hm, o jogador de amanhã?
